Veggie bowl for weight loss

Veggie bowl is the most welcome meal during festivities. Making something easier to cook and the simplest way to keep your tummy filled. Fresh, hearty,  perfect for a light dinner. A smart choice of dinner to lose weight and to keep a watch on your meal and nutrition. Veggies and moong sprouts are great for a meal. Healthy, gluten free and vegan bowl!

PREP TIME: 15 minutes

COOK TIME: less than 10 minutes

COURSE: dinner

CUISINE : vegan

YIELD : 1 serving

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:

Sesame oil – 1 tbsp

Garlic chopped – 1 tsp

Onion chopped – 1 (small)

Capsicum  – 1/2 chopped

Cabbage – 1/4 cup

Moong sprouts – 1/4 cup

Beans chopped – handful

Tomato ketchup – 3 tsp

Soy sauce – 1 tsp

Chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp

Dry Basil – 1 tsp

Salt as required

METHOD :

Heat oil in a pan. Saute chopped garlic and onion.

Add in all the chopped veggies like cabbage, capsicum and beans. (You may include any available veggie in your pantry)

Add the moong sprouts and salt. Saute them for 2 minutes in medium flame.

Add the spices and herbs like chilli flakes and basil leaves. Mix well.

Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce and give it a good mix. Adjust salt. Turn off the stove.

Transfer to a bowl and serve hot !
